Simply Horror

Simply Horror grew out of a deep love for the genre and an even deeper need to talk about it. Horror has always been my comfort zone, my playground, and sometimes my therapy. With a little push from friends and fellow fans, I created this space to celebrate the films I adore, question the ones I don’t, and connect with other people who understand why we keep coming back to the dark.

This isn’t just a movie review site. It’s a place to talk about the genre itself—what works, what doesn’t, how horror has changed, and why certain stories stay under our skin long after the credits roll. Some days that means revisiting old favorites, other days it means digging into bigger questions about modern horror, remakes, performances, and the heart of what scares us.

I’m not here to be the final word on anything—just a lifelong fan who believes horror can be smart, ridiculous, terrifying, comforting, and beautifully strange all at once. Everything written here comes from a place of honesty, curiosity, and love for the genre that raised me.
